The robot profile cutting line is a high performance plasma cutting line. Equipped with edge cleaning, marking and multiple CAD-CAM interfaces, the PCL is the most innovative and productive plasma cutting line.
The PCL Robot Profile Cutting Line seamlessly integrates an edge cleaning unit into the production line. It serves for removing paint from the feet of the stiffeners, which allows for faster welding while guaranteeing higher welding quality.
PCL plasma stiffener cutting is performed by a combination of both the gripper and the 6-axis robot, which makes on the fly measurement possible. The robot arm realizes high quality cuts.
Clever nesting routines allow for grouping of smaller parts in order to form a combined outfeed cycle. This minimizes any disruption of the robot while waiting for transversal unloading. Thanks to the PCL’s full slat belt, waiting time is eliminated.
