We are pleased to share two important updates within our sales team that underline this commitment. With the official relocation of Gerrit Teunissen to our headquarters in the Netherlands and the return of experienced HGG professional Daan van Dee, we are further reinforcing our international presence and sharpening our focus on key markets, including the global shipbuilding industry.
GERRIT TEUNISSEN
GLOBAL SALES MANAGER
Although Gerrit Teunissen has already been driving HGG’s global sales strategy for over a year, we are proud to officially mark his move to HGG’s headquarters in the Netherlands. Gerrit brings with him extensive steel industry experience, having held management roles at trusted Australian steel suppliers Southern Queensland Steel and Atlas Steels before joining HGG in 2020. He played a key role in expanding HGG’s presence in the United States as General Manager of Houston-based HGG Inc.
Now based in the Netherlands, Gerrit fully steps into his role as Global Sales Manager, where he continues to strengthen customer relationships and accelerate HGG’s global growth. His international background makes him ideally positioned to support HGG’s continued global expansion.

SALES MANAGER SHIPBUILDING
With the return of HGG veteran Daan van Dee to our sales team, we are sharpening our focus on the global shipbuilding industry. Daan rejoined HGG after first starting with us in 2008 as Regional Sales Manager for Europe & Russia, bringing deep industry knowledge and hands-on experience in shipbuilding. In his new role, he will actively align our product portfolio with the evolving demands and requirements of the industry. We’re excited to welcome Daan back to the HGG team.
