HGG Leadership Update: Building The Next Phase of HGG

As HGG continues to grow and develop, we would like to share an important next step in our leadership structure. This step builds on our strong foundation and sharpens our focus for the future: driven by innovation, enabled by people, and grounded in respect and collaboration. This leadership change reflects continuity and ambition. It reinforces our commitment to innovation, our respect for the people who make HGG what it is today, and our shared belief that we are strongest when we grow together.

After many years as CEO, Jack Kistemaker will transition into the role of Chief Innovation Officer (CIO).

Jack has played a defining role in shaping HGG into the advanced technology company it is today. Innovation, entrepreneurship, and long-term thinking have always been at the heart of his leadership. In his new role as CIO, Jack will fully focus on R&D and innovation, strengthening the technological foundation that enables our future growth. He will remain closely involved in shaping HGG’s long-term direction.

Per the 1st of February, Wiebe Wiersma will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HGG.

Wiebe has been with HGG for more than 16 years and progressed from an internal commercial role into senior leadership, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer. Throughout this journey, he has played a key role in shaping HGG’s global growth and customer-focused strategy. His appointment as CEO underlines HGG’s belief in developing leadership from within and ensuring continuity in its long-term vision.

Ingeborg Valkonet will continue in her role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), with an expanded scope.

For more than seven years, Ingeborg has been a driving force in translating strategy into execution and strengthening HGG’s operational and organizational foundation. Known for connecting people, creating clarity in processes, and fostering collaboration across the organization, she will continue as COO to focus on operational excellence while enabling growth and engagement.
