Repair Lead Time

Although repair duration depends on torch condition and parts availability, the maximum lead time is six months from repair confirmation. Whenever possible, repairs are completed sooner.

INITIAL PRE-ASSESSMENT

Before anything is shipped, Plasma Solution reviews the photos and details you provided to confirm the torch is repairable and the repair is cost-effective. This helps avoid unnecessary shipping costs and assessment fees.

If suitable for repair: HGG issues an RMA number and you can start the shipment of the torch using that RMA.
If not suitable: HGG informs you on the news and we will suggest alternatives, saving time and cost.

EXPERT TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT

After the torch is received, Kjellberg-certified specialists at Plasma Solution perform a detailed technical evaluation. They inspect wear, damage, and component condition, and determine the most effective repair strategy.

In order to make a good estimate of whether the torch can be repaired, we require you to provide us with the following pictures. We kindly ask you to supply them directly when completing this form.

IMAGE 1: TORCH SERIAL NUMBER

Please provide a clear photo of the serial number of the torch. This number can be found on the side of the torch.

IMAGE 2: CUTTING HEAD

For the photo please remove all consumables and make a clear photo of the inside of the cutting head.

IMAGE 3: HOSE PACKAGE

Also please provide a clear photo of the torch and hose package. This is important to determine the damage of the torch and if the torch needs to be repaired partially or completely.
