Software Engineer (MSC / BSC)

You will be located in the software engineering department of the HGG headquarters based in Wieringerwerf. Here you will work together with a group of young and enthusiastic engineers that enable HGG to continue being the technological leader in industrial automation.

Key responsibilities include

Acting as a requirements analist;
Specification and implementation of new software developments;
Refactoring and maintaining existing software;
Perform testing of software on profiling machines
Trouble shooting assistance to installation and service engineers;
Be able to lead software engineering activities on projects (both in house projects and externally);
Contribution to project scope definition, performing concept engineering and detail specifications for software outsourcing;
Occasional visits to foreign customers or suppliers;

Qualifications

At least BSC (HBO) level of education in software engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation;
Good knowledge of C++ programming;
Preferably knowledge of Qt, UML, Unit Testing
Knowledge of MySQL and User Interface Design would be an advantage
Strong written and oral communications skills in English;
